Privacy Policy

Danjo — Effective April 19, 2026

4th Degree Labs, LLC ("we", "our", "us") built the Danjo app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the app.

Information Collection

We collect two categories of information:

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider (see "Third-Party Services" below) and is never visible to us.

Study activity data. To enable progress tracking across devices, the app synchronizes the following study data to our backend:

A copy of the same data is also stored locally on your device in an on-device SQLite database so the app remains usable offline. We do not collect your name, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or contacts.

Permissions

The app currently requires no special runtime permissions beyond network access for authentication and sync.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Supabase (operated by Supabase Inc.) to host user authentication and the study-activity database. Account information and synced study data are stored on Supabase infrastructure on our behalf. We do not use any analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.

Internet and Data Transmission

The app connects to Supabase over HTTPS to authenticate your account and to sync your study activity. When the device is offline, sync events are queued locally and uploaded the next time a connection is available. No other network traffic is generated by the app.

User Accounts

An account is required to use the app. You create an account with an email address and a password. Your email address is used solely for authentication and, if necessary, to communicate with you about your account (for example, to confirm a deletion request).

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow users under 13 to create accounts or provide us with personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, please contact us at the address below and we will delete the account and associated data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Synced account and study-activity data is retained on our Supabase instance until you request deletion of your account (see "Account Deletion" below). Local on-device data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage through your device settings.

Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account, email fourthdegreelabs@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We will delete your authentication record and all associated study-activity data from our Supabase instance within 30 days of receiving your request and reply to confirm once the deletion is complete.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated through app update release notes. We encourage you to review this page periodically. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
